Eric was amazing...He was on-time each day, he explained everything so that I could understand and definitely had patience with my indecisiveness. I had a previous tile contractor whose service was subpar and had left things unfinished.. Eric came in and understood my frustrations. He understood the aesthetic I was going for and made extremely helpful suggestions. I need to have my kitchen floor grouted and to have my backsplash done. Eric helped me choose the right grout color for the floor so that the tile looked seamless and he designed a backsplash for me that literally brought me to tears. It was the exact look I wanted but couldn't put into words. But the best part of the whole experience was how clean he worked. The previous contractor left my kitchen dusty and smeared, Eric left it spotless and to me that is the true sign of a great contractor... He is my first call for the next tile project I do.

The job was a small upstairs bathroom that needed the old vinyl floor taken out and new tile laid. Eric was not the lowest bid and that is fine with me. Lowest bids are usually that way for a reason, and I don't like finding out why they are the cheapest. Eric's bid was reasonable and I got some great value. First off, he showed up when he said he would. Right on time. Unbelievable! We went over the job and then he proceeded to lay down drop cloths over the stairs and hallway so as not to get stuff dirty. He even laid out a tarp outside on the grass where he set up his saw. He did the job nicely and then he packed it all away. He left my house clean with no muss and no fuss. Inconceivable! Besides showing up on time, doing a great job and not messing up my house, Eric is simply a nice guy to have in your house. I wish he wasn't so busy and we had time to sit over a cup of coffee and chat about sturgeon fishing. I wish I had found him earlier in my home improvement projects instead of one of my last flooring projects, but at least I got him for this job. Do yourself a favor and give him a call. He's great!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price jobs by the length of time it will take to complete (priced by the day) and then add material cost to that (thinset, grout, caulking etc...) tile provided by the homeowner or business owner.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Set up in person meeting, go over details and expectations. Put together a quote. If excepted plan out detailed plan of installation and set a start date. Begin material acquisition and then start job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of experience working for a union tile shop and in business for myself since 2008. Completed apprenticeship program and licensed with the State Of California.
