- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All artists at Harmony Henna are Internationaly certified henna artists. We have been tested and passed questions on science, history, and safty practices by a group of peers at the INCHA board. We believe that continuing education is very important at Harmony Henna we attend multiple conferences a year on henna to keep our skills on the cutting edge.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Over ten years ago I fell head over heels in love with henna art. I was lucky enough to find a conference in my area. I went and was welcomed by other artists in the field to join them at their events. After years of training I opened my own business that continues to bring me joy and art.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask you artist about the henna they use. A professional artist should always be able to explain all ingredients in their henna paste. Professional artists should not use commercial pre-made paste it has been linked to allergies and chimicals burns.
