Introduction: As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. What you need to know most about me is that I am totally committed to your healing and cleaning up your past, creating new possibilities for today, rekindling your zest for life, and creating a new life you absolutely love and fully participate in. I work with both short-term and long-term therapy clients. My goal is to develop long relationships with clients so that they feel the extra support they need during times of crisis or when they are seeking growth in their lives and relationships. Through the solution-based therapy, I will help you understand the cause of problems, find effective solutions, and learn to live more comfortable. In addition, I regularly take course work and continuing education in a wide variety of clinical topics to increase and update my knowledge base and experiential learning opportunities. With several years of experience as a marriage and family therapist, I also currently run and facilitate groups for women who are dealing with emotional eating issues. I also am in a partnership with Folsom Lake Fitness where I give bimonthly seminars providing tools and steps to challenge the thoughts and behaviors that prevent many from reaching their weight loss goals.
