FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Notary fees are $15.00 per each signature notarized plus any travel fees depending on the time of day and distance I have to travel to you. If you would like to save on travel cost, you can also travel to a location close to me and there will be no travel fees charged. I offer a discount for more than 10 notarization per signing session. Sometimes, I offer a flat rate. Please contact me with questions for these options.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I make contact with a client, I ask the following: How many people are signing? How many signatures require notarization? What type of document is it? The meeting time and location? Once I determine the services required, I provide an estimate for the cost of my service and schedule and appointment. I also notify the client of the requirement to have a government issued ID (only certain government issued identification is acceptable). If the client does not have an ID, I am able to notarize the document with the presence of two witnesses that knows the person signing the document.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a California Notary Public and have completed the Notary training, passed back ground check and I have also completed loan signing training as well. I am able to facilitate loan signing, settlements, etc.
