About
Each session, I focus on teaching a lesson tailored specifically to each students' needs and moving step by step accordingly based on a structured syllabus. If necessary, and at no cost to the student, I am willing to go overtime with the student to ensure that they go home with a clear understanding of their piano pieces and what is expected from them in their assigned homework. This allows for our lesson in the following week's session to be as productive as possible in order for us to move on to the next level and learn new music pieces. I also teach Music Theory classes to help sharpen students' skills and knowledge in music composition, and incorporate the use of iPads to supplement their instruction.
I am passionate in teaching the art of music and piano to students that are willing to learn. Because studying piano is a commitment, I am able to determine if the student is engaging with the lesson well and whether their heart willingly enables them to learn piano earnestly. I especially enjoy encouraging my students, watching their piano skills improve over time, and witnessing them reap the benefits of their hard work as they develop their own love for piano.

She gives me a couple of sight reading pieces each time that is very challenging and I like it. I have learned reading music in different way in Japan when I was child and she altered her way of teaching to my way so that I understand it better.

I have only had an assessment and one lesson. But, I think she will work out just fine for me. She follows the California Music Teacher Association syllabus. So, I know what I need to accomplish before moving on to the next level. She is very professional. That's just what I need.

She is very enthusiastic in her lessons. My kids(13/10yrs) love to learn piano from her.
Camino Music Studio's reply
Your children are both very good students; they listen and play sensitively. What a joy Listening to them play their piano piece(s) after each week of assignment. Their detailed practice really shows.
