I was able to get service the next day, but I feel I overpaid. He asked for $300 up front. Albeit there were 4 workers...my max budget was $200 for weed removal for a small back yard and two narrow side yards. I had received another estimate for $65, but couldn't wait until next week. So I paid $200 for a half hour's worth of weed whacking! Split 4 ways, that was $50/hr for each worker. More than I make as a highly trained medical professional! Get your estimate UP FRONT before he shows up. In hind sight, maybe sending photos of the job would have been a good idea...
