I had no idea what to expect when I started looking for a personal trainer. I just knew I had to do something more than join a gym, and never go. Taking the free assessment session with Hugo was one of the best things I have done. You can definitely tell that he knows what he is doing. He is always well organized, hardworking, and dedicated to you, and your training. He's extremely patient with you, and always encourages you too. You are also provided with a meal plan that is easy to follow, and instructions for cardio training as well. In the past year that I have trained with him, I have lost over 30 lbs, and 4 inches off my waist. Not to mention I feel much better, and am stronger physically. I couldn't have done it on my own, and I don't mind paying for the help to get there. Hugo always works with your schedule, and is pretty accommodating. He truly cares, and wants you to succeed. You definitely get what you pay for, and it's worth it. If I didn't relocate up North, I would still be training with him today. If you want the best, train with Hugo!
Hands down Jobi Morrison is the BEST personal trainer! I have been training with Jobi for 5 years. I'm the strongest I have ever been! My workouts are never boring. I always look forward to see how he will challenge me with cardio, strength and balance and I am never disappointed! Jobi always takes the time to listen to my questions about fitness and nutrition and always provides sound advice. I have worked with Aaron over the last couple of months and he's great! I saught professional help after I found out I have a hormonal imbalance called PCOS. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome occurs in 1 in 20 women, developing from puberty, it stole my life. I was overweight, with an insulin resistance, mood disorder, sleep apnea, hair loss, high testosterone level, and a high risk of heart disease and ovarian cancer. Since working with Aaron I feel like he taught me to gain back control of my life. I'm 40lbs lighter, with more energy and good health than I ever thought was destined for me. A big part of Aaron's program is paleo eating, which helped my insulin levels because I wasn't eating processed foods, carbs, or sugar. I also can't induce too much stress on my body because of the delicate hormone balance, my workouts with Aaron are helpful and stress free. We figured out what I can do physically and than slowly pushed me to higher levels. We do a lot of strength training, cardio intervals, and balance work. I never knew how weak my back was until I started working it out. Now, I have less back pain, more confidence in my bodies abilities, balanced moods, less acne and inflammation. In December I had blood work done and my insulin and testosterone levels have made a 180' change to normal. Working with Aaron was literally a life changing decision for me! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a healthy change back to basics!
I highly recommend Roger to anyone interested in group training, personal training, or for any fitness goal that anyone may have. Roger really dedicate his time and energy to his clients to makes sure that the workouts are always invigorating, safe, fun, and never repetitive. I can guarantee there are no limits to his workouts; the word impossible is not in his vocabulary. I saw results within the first two months of working out and really enjoyed the energy and support from Roger. If there were more stars to give I would give him more!
Tamara is an excellent personal trainer. She is knowledgeable in physiology, nutrition, and understands the mind-body connection better than anyone I know. I feel great knowing she is watching me exercise correctly in the right posture and form which reduces my risk of injury. She knows how to adjust the body to maximize the benefits of exercise, from warm ups to the final stretch of your workout. I have worked with many personal trainers and none have been as patient, knowledgeable, and kind as Tamara. She is great to work with because she knows and loves her work. I learned interval training from Tamara and interval training works; I learned how to achieve a great cardio workout for my fitness level in less than ten minutes. Tamara looks at your level of fitness and determines what you need. Even if you are first starting an exercise regimen or are at an advanced level, she will guide you through it all and you will feel great about your body and feel great about yourself. EJ is an absolute beast and an amazing trainer. His attention to detail is beyond anyone I have ever trained with. I have been training and doing private lessons for years with highly skilled trainers. EJ is at the top of the hill. I am a Jiu Jitsu brown belt and EJ has elevated my game to another level. Best trainer for boxing, Jiu Jitsu, cardio and general fitness.
Where do I start... I've been a Happy EBC Camper for almost 3 years now and I can honestly say that it never gets old or boring! We are so lucky to have the time and attention of Monique as our personal trainer for an hour every day! That would be so expensive at the gym! Monique is so awesome at what she does... She mixes up cardio and strength routines, uses different techniques to challenge our bodies, all the while keeping it fresh and extremely effective! It's amazing what she can pack into an hour!! She pushes me to levels I would never have pushed myself (and I was always a gym rat before EBC). Some days I go for the workout, some days I go for the attitude adjustment... But I'll tell you what - I'm never disappointed I showed up!! She expects each person to give their personal best...it's cool to watch people each session shed inches, drop pounds, shave time off their mile, etc and what they don't realize is that they have probably just added years to their lives! How do you put a price tag on that?
GOAT Fitness totally changed my attitude towards physical fitness. Rather than "exercise" at GOAT Fitness we TRAIN. Understanding the difference of a strength & conditioning PROGRAM like those offered at GOAT Fitness, compared to the exercise I did at my old personal training facility explains the difference in results. My old gym was pretty common to most "Exercise to the point of suffering while on a strict diet" I lost some weight. What my old gym did was made me dread my workouts, I was burned out, hungry, and unmotivated. Here the training sessions are physically demanding, but focused on strength goals, on pushing towards maximum performance rather than exhaustion. I've been a committed satisfied client for 6 months, I've lost 15 pounds, decreased my body fat from 26% to 19%, I went from a size 10 to a size 6. After I changed my focus from "punishing" my body with restricted calories and endless cardio at my old gym to STRENGTHENING my body at GOAT Fitness I've hit fitness milestones I never would've thought possible. I really enjoyed kickboxing with Andrew. It was tough but I lost so much weight and toned every muscle. It was great.
At first, I was apprehensive in looking for a personal trainer, outside a gym. Being 60 years old, I liked the idea she had her work outs at her home. Her garage was set up with the equipment. She was in great shape herself. She was nice, friendly, and easy to work with. She was very encouraging and very supportive. The work outs were hard and she kept challenging me in each workout, as well as the cardio I did at home. I lost weight, inches, gained muscles and strength, which is what I desired. Another side benefit from the workouts was a better night sleep and more energy. I would highly recommend her for your personal trainer.
My boyfriend got me a membership to the gym. How sweet, ugh! I guess my love handles were a little to much love for him to handle:( I went to the gym almost everyday for 3-4 months doing cardio and sauna, then i started looking like a 13 year old boy, how depressing! I lost shape and muscle tone. Until i met Sean, He is 'Awesome"!! after 3 months of personal training with Sean, i gained strength definition and a really nice booty:D (per my boyfriends compliments). I am very happy and confident with my transformation. Ladies, if you really want to feel and look good, Sean is the right Trainer.
I've been training under Ticia's guidance for two years. During that time she has trained me with a variety of moves which keeps my body challenged. The workouts have included; plyometrics, cardio such as hiking, kettle ball workouts, free weights, weight machines, running hills & stairs and body weight excercises. Ticia has created meal plans and inspired me to learn meditation. She is basically my life coach, trainer, therapist and friend. Someone who can in one way or another relate to my life needs and goals.
This is one of the best personal training experiences I’ve had. Kevin made a point to get to know me and my history so he can focus on my fitness and health needs. He pushes you to reach your goals and makes sure you’re getting the most out of your work out every time he works with you. He also uses boxing and strength training which involves a good amount of cardio and from my experience makes the work out more exciting. I recommend Kevin to anyone who is serious about being healthy, strong and living a better life.
Mr. Rodgers Personal Training has excellent customer service. The thing i was impress with the most was how Sean helped from being a newbie to where i feel comfortable going into any gym and using my knowledge to workout. Before i just used cardio machine now i break it down. Oh and Sean is huge on nutrition and removing the words "I can't" out of your vocabulary. Definitelygive him a try especially if you are a newbie like i was.
I consider myself a rather active and engaged in my own fitness, so when I moved to Irvine, I did not see myself changing my routine. That is until I hit a plateau. I met Lamar during a cardio session at my local gym. His affable personality immediately indicated that he was not there to sell me anything, but rather, extol some much needed fitness knowledge. We set up a time for a complementary training session and assessment. Oh, geez, I learned so much about how much harder I needed to push to reach my goals. Lamar was very honest but practical. My favorite part is that he gave me things to do to enhance my current workout at no charge! This says a lot about a about his dedication to and love of fitness. After I worked out, I was so sore but knew I had a lot of room to grow to make gains. I subsequently signed up for his one-on-one training and am so happy I did as I would never have believed I could push past my current stagnation. It is so clear that Lamar loves what he does and it translates into the passion he he displays when with his clientele. I took Brooke's work out classes at the Lowe's hotel in Santa Monica. She incorporated a perfect amount of weighted cardio workouts then even took us outside to run some hills and do abs right next to the beach. She has a likeable spirit when it comes to working out and in life.
I worked out with Steven both in LA and OC. He knows in gym and outdoor facilities to keep you refreshed and challenged. Good for cardio and I set my bench press record under him.
I was someone who wouldn't step foot in a gym due to my insecurities after I couldn't lose the 40 extra lbs of baby weight. I hired Jarod to come to my home 3x a week, to help me get over my fears and back into shape, while being able to tend to my baby. I've been now training with him fo a little over 3 months and have lost almost 25lbs. I joined a gym and started to do cardio 5x a week while I continue to train 3x a week with Jarod. He taught me to eat heathy and continue to be happy with the foods I enjoy. What I use to dread, I now look forward to every week. Highly recommended and changed my life.
I went to Ed totally out of shape. I hoped he could help me with an exercise regimine. Well, I got way more than that! Ed developed a specific plan to lose weight (25lbs. so far) and get fit (I can do most exercises, my cardio is night and day, and my blood pressure has dropped significantly). Beyond the workouts he re-educated me on nutruion and portion size...and helped keep me accountable! It has been a life changing experience. Ed is an excellent trainer who teaches and emphasizes proper technique - he showed me the proper way to do so many exercises. He keeps you safe and helps you avoid injury. Also, he constantly mixes up your workouts so you never get bored or stuck in a routine. Also, the other Fitness Together staff members are excellent. I cannot recommend Ed and Fitness Together highly enough!
Super fun way to work out with Sezo, he is very motivating. Every workout is different has been a mix of boxing and cardio. Personally i feel so much more energetic and encouraged to continue to reach my goals with the help and guidance of him! I highly recommend training with Sezo
