We contacted Bernal's Plumbing through Thumbtack after discovering a second leak in our home, one that fell outside our insurance coverage. Frank called us back within minutes and was out at the property the next day. He quoted a fair, reasonable price and committed to a Saturday start, and he showed up Saturday morning exactly as promised. He re-plumbed the second-story lines running through our garage and completed the entire job in one day.
A few days later we ran into another plumbing issue that had to be resolved before a birthday party in our backyard. I sent Frank a photo; he confirmed he could handle it, and he came out on a day's notice, stopping by at the end of another job, and repaired it the same day.
Two unexpected jobs in one week, both handled quickly and done right. Frank is responsive, reliable, and fairly priced. We highly recommend Bernal's Plumbing.

My elderly parents had a broken pipe outside that cause a lot of flooding, making it so that they had to turn the water off from the main. They had no running water. They got a quote from some big company who wanted to charge them an insane amount and commit elder financial abuse. I told them they needed a 2nd opinion but they refused, stating they just wanted to get this over with ASAP. So I took it upon myself to reach out to Bernal’s Plumbing on Thumbtack yesterday morning. He reached out to them within minutes, gave them a much more reasonable quote, and came that afternoon to fix it and fixed it perfectly in about an hour. Up and running again! Frank was awesome! He gave great advice - I only needed a 40-gal WH and not a 50-gal. His recommendations matched what the other companies did, but he gave me an estimate that was half the other two for the same product and service. He came the next day and was done when he said he would be. He checked in with me via text. When I asked him to lower the water pressure by 10%, he was very responsive and got it done. He and his nephew also cleaned up everything and hauled away the old water heater. Very satisfied with his work.

Here in Bernal's Plumbing, We try to take care of all of our customers. One of the ways to achieve that is by making sure we give the customer a fair price while still providing quality A type service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Bernal's Plumbing always strives for the comfort of the customer. We try our best to make sure that when meeting a new customer he does not get treated like a customer but more as a friend and family member. One of our satisfactions is to know that our customers feel comfortable safe and happy when we show up while we do the work and after the work is done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I Frank Bernal Jr. the founder and owner of Bernal's plumbing have a Associates in Science degree in the plumbing field to go along with my 13 years on the field experience. I am constantly going through the code books to ensure every job i do is up to code and meets all requirements. I am also constantly checking for all new fixtures faucets and materials that constantly come up so i can stay up to date with all plumbing related items. I also ensure that any one who represents my company follows suit. I personally train any new member of my company.
