About
I am a Marine Corps Veteran, KU Film and Media Studies graduate and seasoned Freelance Photographer. Originally from the Kansas City area, I picked up a camera shortly after being honorably discharged from the Marines back in 2008 and through hard work and dedication I figured out a way to make a living doing something I love. I am open-minded and can adapt to any situation you put me in. It is my mission to create awesome photos no matter what the circumstances are.
Each request that I take on tends to be unique, from being inches away from the stage at a rock show to being deep in a cave in the middle of nowhere with deafening silence, the thrill of not knowing what I will photograph next is what keeps me clicking. I pride myself in producing images that stand out, ones that my clients are proud to showcase for years to come. Jeff did an OUTSTANDING job. He responded in a timely fashion and was able to help us out of a bind. He took this last minute job and performed in a professional and courteous manner. Our event was a formal military ball which required a great deal of special attention and constant movement to take the best photos possible. Jeff was not only able to meet our needs, but exceeded our expectations. He took all the photos we wanted and more. He then got the images back to us within 48 hours. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and the quality of product. I would recommend him to anyone.

Jeff helped our school with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony event in Kansas City - off of Front St. Jeff was very responsive to my calls and emails and he was on time for our event. Jeff took the pictures we asked for and he made creative suggestions for other photo ideas. Jeff's quality of work is outstanding. We will definitely be using him again soon. Thanks Jeff!

Jeff was awesome! He is great at getting into the mix in order to capture the perfect shot. He arrived prepped and quickly jumped into taking photos. We walked away with an outstanding assortment of action shots, posed photos, as well as pictures of the whole venue's layout. We're thrilled with the results.

I hired Jeff to photographed our 50th wedding anniversary celebration of 63 people. He discussed the event several times in advance. He arrived 30 minutes before the posed fmaily pictures were takes to set identify scenic background at winery in Napa and set up proper lighting for the scene which was heavely backlit. He took posed pictures of 11 family members in various groupings, informal pictures at reception and during dinner and at Renewal of Weddding Vow ceremony. Picture were very good- sharp and good lighting. He composed 3 different albums for members of the family and was very quick in re-arranging the order of the pictures and making requested edit. . He was very professional to work with and guests enjoyed having him take their picture. He was very prompt ( within 3 days) in posting on his website a gallery of about 100 pictures of the event, which guests can review , download and order prints. He completed composing 3 different albums in 10 days. I was very pleased and recommend Jeff for event photography.

Jeff was excellent--very professional, and flexible both in terms of planning and on date of event. His communication was excellent. The event was a bar mitzvah, which is not always easy, and included a party in the evening. Jeff was on time, very polite, and the quality of his photos was excellent. The event required some discussions with various parties, and he was always responsive and quick to adapt to the needs and requirements of the various venues. I would highly recommend Jeff and would definitely use him for any local event that requires photography.
