I messaged Thumbtack at 7 am, and Vlad surprised me by responding right away. He kept me apprised of his ETA as he finished his other jobs. He assessed the situation, made the needed repair, double-checked his work and was done in less than 30 minutes. Plus, while he was here, he was very professional and pleasant!
