Urban Design Systems is an architecture and design studio producing innovative solutions for mixed use, multifamily and residential projects. At UDS, we solve building problems and propose design solutions that achieve built poetry. Our services include: Design, Feasibility Studies, Proforma Analysis, Permitting, Bidding and Contract Administration. UDS can also partner with developers to generate asset income properties in selected typologies and markets. The studio was founded in 2023 by Christopher Mueller, an accomplished architect and designer, who has led design and contract administration efforts on significant urban development projects in the US and beyond. Prior to founding Urban Design Systems, Christopher honed his craft at some of the largest and most respected architectural offices in the world. Christopher has over 25 years of professional experience in the field and has worked on projects at many scales, including major new ground-up residential & mixed-use development, adaptive reuse projects and historic landmark renovations. Christopher is a graduate of UC Berkeley and SCI-Arc and licensed in California.
