Karn was super responsive and able to help me finish painting my nursery. He executed the vision amazingly and I am so happy with the end result. It is so beautiful and the quality of his work is great. He went above and beyond to prep the area and clean up after too. Allyson took money and never returned to complete the blatantly incomplete job. Allyson apparently tried to squeeze a two day job into one….As a result, she painted an octopus with an oddly shaped head, only 3 legs, and with multiple errors that made it obvious she does not understand light and how octopus arms work… She ignored the mock-up I provided of how I wanted the coral to look (not blotches of paint like provided), there was a ton of bleed over paint and overall and some pretty bad mistakes. I stayed out of her hair the entire day, only popping in when she requested, I was very positive towards what she was producing since I assumed it was simply not complete. Towards the end of the day (light fading) I began to become concerned since the temperature and light became not favorable and the varnish had not been applied yet and of course, I was now seeing considerable art issues and incomplete work. She offered to return 2 days later in the morning to fix and finish. I sent her short list of concerning spots so she had a points of reference. She never responded by text or thumbtack. She took hundreds of dollars and ran. Photos attached are what she left behind and one, is the mock-up I provided for the what I expected in the details and location of the coral reef, for reference. As you can see, I got blotches of paint. I didn’t say anything to her, but this is all so unprofessional. I’m just venting now but just Google “starfish painting” and tell me her starfish looks like the art of a professional🫤
