- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always enjoyed painting but for whatever reason I always steered towards animals. I painted a portrait of my pitbull, Maiden back in 2013 and after finishing it was when I decided I wanted to eventually do it for others.. People still ask me about that painting today.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The last two portraits that I worked on were of a Doberman named Haides and a Boxer named Brandy. The owners were thrilled at how both turned out.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
At the end of the day, just to make sure that they are happy with the painting that they’re getting. If you’re putting down money for a portrait of someone you love it’s important that it is right.. that it looks like how you know them.
