- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client I like to get to know them. I have a small questionnaire I like for them to fill out so I can get a better understanding of who they are and their fashion likes and dislikes. As a stylist my job is to make my customer look good and feel good. To do this, I like to get to know them. Getting to know your client is key to having them feeling and looking their best.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a love for fashion and making people feel good in the fashion they wear. I started out giving friends and family styling and fashion advice. Soon after people I've never meet before would contact me and ask for my styling help after seeing a friend or family member I styled. I've been styling people ever since.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked will all types of customer. I've worked with mothers who feel like they've lost themselves a little due to their mommy duties. I've had customers whose gained or lost weight and are having a hard time dressing their new body. Some of my clients are people who feel they are stuck in a rut and want a new look. A lot of my clients are just looking for the perfect look for a particular night or special event. I even have wives who want to surprises their husbands with a new look after being away due to military duties/deployments. I also have worked with customers who have obtained a new job with a specific dress code that they need to follow ie. business attire or semi casual.
