Clay came to my office to do some headshots and photos around the office. He was great to work with, had great ideas and we were very pleased with his professionalism. He was prompt at returning emails, answering questions, and in touching up the photos. Great turn around time. During the photo shoot, the pictures would upload quickly on his computer so we can see if we wanted to change anything with posing or props. I would definitely be interested in hiring Clay for other photo gigs and have his business card handy.

Very unprofessional behavior from this photographer. Had ordered multiple properties, he just decided to cancel on one of them saying that the price that we previously agreed isn't good enough. Looks like he got another more paying job and dismissed his previous commitments. Then for the properties that he did complete photoshoots he took instead of promised one business day a whole week to complete editing and submit photos. And then turned out that he didn't provide promised count of pictures, it was few pictures less than agreed upon.

We are the largest private event company in San Diego and when discussing in an operations meeting an upcoming event with one of our photographers we mentioned our need for some drone shots. He suggested Thumbtack. We posted and within an hour or two we had 4-5 offers. We choose the operator who seemed to match what we needed and with a price in the middle of those offering. On the day of the event everything seemed to go well enough. The photographer showed up with his drone, we directed them to the shot location and the drone operator began to take photos. Here is where things broke down. The operator wanted to be paid in cash even though we had a check available for them and again as mentioned are the largest event company in San Diego (doing business for over 25 years). This we understood and had no issue with it since some of our smaller vendors like cash for their own piece of mind. The following day we began to reach out to the photographer via telephone, texting, email, messaging, facebook, etc. and as of this moment have had no reply and no pictures forwarded to us. Thumbtack listed this provider as a "top level provider" when in fact they have just disappeared. We even offered to the photographer that we have events throughout the entire year and would like to review having him work on other projects. I am sad to say that our company will not post with Thumbtack again and suggest Thumbtack remove this provider from bidding on future projects. Sal was very generous with his time & insight. Outside of school & sports, I couldn't remember ever having professional photos taken. Sal was super easy to work with and guided me through our session. I liked how I was able to look at the "rough" pictures instantly, mark the ones I liked, and then go back for more. The pictures began to trickle in ahead of schedule and Sal continued to drop retouched pictures into my folder for a couple of days. I could not be happier with the finished products and have already noticed an uptick in business after I revamped my social media. Thanks again.
