FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've had some schooling, but honestly photography comes from the heart and in order to take great photographs of people one has to be an expert with people, emotions and life. that you can only learn by living and photographing a lot.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I started college I needed a job so I became a makeup artist and ended up working with some of the top names in the beauty industry such as Christian Dior, Shiseido, and Lancôme. After my father gave me my first Pentax camera, I naturally moved on to enjoy my work as a portrait photographer. The first time I looked through the viewfinder and noticed how attractive my subjects were feeling was a very special moment for me. When I realized how good I could make people feel, is when I got hooked on making people look and know they are beautiful.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of bookings I have gotten in the past are actor and corporate headshots, but lately the Fine Art Portraits and classic Pin Up are red hot! I really enjoy the one-on-one work.
