Overall I would give this vendor two stars. I'll attach the email I sent to him prior to leaving my review. Im heartbroken for the quality on our special day. He is correct that the "dance" disc I burned only had 5 songs, but he was given a ceremony & seating disc as well as a cocktail hour and brunch disc with 90 minutes each of music I requested. Alex, As you can imagine, I'm saddened by how the music for our wedding turned out. I can't imagine how there could have been a miscommunication after we met on 3 separate occasions to review the details. I gave you two timelines and burned the music onto discs for you. I couldn't have been anymore clear as to what kind of music to play and when to play it. The disaster started when the bridal processional was played for my bridal party to walk out to. The song that was to be played when we presented the roses to our moms was skipped altogether. Never played. I was shocked when we sat down to eat our beautiful afternoon champagne brunch and you played the most pumped up hard rock music that couldn't be anymore unsuitable for the event. I asked my aunt to tell you to change the song and you continued to play the entire song. I gave you soft, easy listening music to play during that time. Then as the reception progressed, you played old outdated music that further irritated me. The song for the garter toss was also completely skipped. My last request to you was to play Turn Down For What so my friends and I could dance. This was also a song I burned for you. I completely lost my patience when you played a techno version that I had never even heard, nor any of us wanted to dance to. Why spend all of my time making spreadsheets and programs, burning discs...if you were not even going to be following them?? To me, the DJ is one of the most important pieces to a wedding. I couldn't be anymore disappointed. I have reserved making any review on thumbtack until I could email you first. I believe that at least a partial refund is due to us for the lack of service we received. Very sorry you feel this way about my services, unfortunately for your music you only provided 5 songs, on the party disc you provided so I had to substitute other songs to go with it. Also with respects to your aunt she never named any specific songs or type that you wanted, also consider you changed a lot of things on me on the last minute the list you provided, you gave it to me in one order and the day of your venue you changed it, that will cause confusion. Another thing consider I started playing music way before your venue started so practically I gave you an extra hour, but once again I'm very sorry that you feel this way you are the first client that feels this way, all my other clients have been very happy.
