When looking for a drum teacher I was looking for a good musician and human being. Adam is both! It has been a great experience so far. We are covering everything from stick control to breaking down a song I want learn to explaining the different type of percussion instruments. I appreciate how patient he is when I get frustrated and how straightforward he is when I need to make corrections. He answers the million questions I come with and has introduced me to some great resources. I love the space we work in, it has great energy and I look forward to my weekly lesson there.

Details: 45 - 64 years old • 0 - 2 yrs of formal training • Can read sheet music • Traditional drum kit • Rock • Country • What the teacher recommends • Yes, the student already has drums • I'm flexible • At the pro’s location

My first official lesson on my way to becoming a rockstar drummer. Adam is fantastic and very knowledgeable with a lot of experience. He’s attentive to small details and I trust his insight and expertise. It was especially nice to know he could assess the training I received in my youth and confirm it had not gone to waste. Look forward to learning more.

Details: 45 - 64 years old • No formal training • Understands note durations and rests • Traditional drum kit • Rock • Country • Blues • Jazz • What the teacher recommends • Folk • No, but the student is planning to purchase drums and would like the teacher's advice on it • I'm flexible • At the pro’s location
