FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on the scope of work, site conditions, materials, access, troubleshooting time, and whether permits are required. I always aim to provide clear, fair, upfront pricing before work begins. For smaller service calls, I can usually provide a price range after reviewing photos and project details. For larger work such as panel upgrades, EV chargers, dedicated circuits, remodel wiring, or commercial work, I may need an on-site evaluation to provide an accurate quote. My goal is not to be the cheapest electrician — it is to provide safe, clean, code-compliant work that is done correctly and built to last.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I review the customer’s project details, photos, location, and timeline. Then I ask any important questions needed to understand the issue clearly. For simple jobs, I can often provide a quote or price range through Thumbtack. For troubleshooting, panel work, circuit issues, or larger installations, I may recommend an on-site visit so I can inspect the electrical system properly. Once the scope is clear, I explain the options, pricing, and next steps. After approval, I schedule the work, complete the installation or repair safely, test everything, clean up the work area, and make sure the customer understands what was done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed California C-10 Electrical Contractor and I am currently pursuing Electrical Engineering coursework while continuing to work hands-on in the electrical trade. My background includes residential, commercial, industrial, solar, and power distribution electrical work. I have experience with troubleshooting, panel work, lighting, dedicated circuits, conduit/raceway installation, switchgear, transformers, inverters, controls, and code-compliant installations. I continue to study electrical code, electrical theory, and power systems so I can bring a higher level of technical understanding, safety, and workmanship to every project.
