We had Jo Apoxsee, our garage floor in June 2021. It was such an upsetting experience. He seemed professional until we booked the job and paid him a deposit. Then he would show up several hours after our agreed-upon start times with no apology or explanation, causing him to have to work late into the night. He did a terrible job on the Apoxsee, with the coverage, ending up uneven and splotchy. It started peeling and lifting up when we removed the painters tape from the perimeter (he told us to let it dry for 24 hours or so before removing the tape). It also started flaking in patches in the middle of the floor within the first two weeks, so it clearly wasn’t done properly. When we sent him pictures, he always had an excuse why he couldn’t come back to inspect or repair. Out of frustration, I eventually turned over all communication with him to my husband. When my husband demanded that he either return to repair the damages, or reimburse us so that we could have the job done properly, Joe then claimed that his wife had been in a terrible accident and would likely not survive. The mere fact that he bothered to send me a list of her injuries made me feel suspicious. And now, seeing that there were other jobs completed/reviews posted during that same time, gives me reason to believe that he may have just been telling a tall tale. I hope his wife is OK, and I certainly don’t wish his unprofessional attitude and terrible workmanship upon anyone. It hasn’t even been two years, and our floors are peeling in sheets all over the place. So disappointing. DO NOT HIRE JOE FOR YOUR EPOXY FLOORS. There’s a good chance. He will take your money and disappear like he did with us..

I believe this was the job in Delmar or near. I gave them a price, and they lowballed me, They said they needed it done by the next day. I explained that this was an old house and that we could not do a rush job. For me to lower the price it would be rushed and not done entirely correctly. They said they didn't care they just wanted it done. I agreed but warned them of what could happen. I wish I would of never tried to help them they were so ungrateful.

Size of raised concrete along the garage perimeter aka lip. Desired top coat? And what style the client is looking for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consultation, so they know what they’re getting. We send an invoice once accepted we start the job on the desired date scheduled.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 6 years working in Construction and I have a bachelors in art why I pay very close attention to detail.
