Brand new to guitar. Erik has been very patient, but also good in teaching technique & promoting progress. Always on time, good communication skills, & very accommodating for student parking, which is an issue here

Eric has been a wonderful teacher to my young kids. They are new to learning music and Eric is patient, encouraging, and has done such an amazing job teaching them the basics of music in addition to their instruments. He has developed great rapport with my children (even with the one who tends to be very shy around others) and makes learning music engaging and fun. They are eager to practice and look forward to their weekly lessons. With regards to the logistics of planning lessons, he is punctual and has been very accommodating to our schedule.

$60/hr $50/45min $40/30min. I give discounts for monthly packages.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First thing I do is take a quick assessment of where my students are at. I then start them with something fairly basic and see how they do. This dictates what pace I can work with my students on. From there I set up building blocks to provide a strong foundation for my student’s musical journey.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in music from SFSU and 2 decades teaching experience.
