I have started learning guitar with zero experience and no background in music. Erik has been excellent at teaching the basics by slowly introducing parts of the music theory but making sure it’s still fun and not overwhelming. I definitely feel more progress with each lesson! I would highly recommend Erik for any levels because he is a very knowledgeable, talented professional musician.

Erik is the exact type of tutor I’ve been looking for. I’m starting my guitar learning at a later stage in life which only makes it harder to discover/learn new things. He’s excellent with training you to have muscle memory, understand where the small details can make a difference in honing my skills, flexible with appointments, and easy to talk to. Learning guitar has helped significantly with the stress and anxiety one can feel, and it’s been wonderful to have a tutor like him who’s patient and fun. I’d recommend him to my friends who are considering guitar playing at some point.
