Elena is wonderful! First of all, her profile includes all the relevant information and so many examples of her work that I felt confident in reaching out to her. She is always quick to respond, in and out of the app. We did a hair and make up trial. She told me to keep in contact throughout the day with notes on how the hair and makeup holds, and if I had any thoughts if I wanted to adjust the hair style or make up colors. She works very quickly and sitting for her is very comfortable. Elena is so friendly and genuine and conversation happens naturally. I would say she finished hair and makeup within 1.5 hours, and I was so pleased that we booked my day-of services. My stepmom also loved the work and requested day-of work as well, which Elena was able to accommodate - 2 days before the wedding! The morning of our ceremony, Elena arrived to our prep location near the venue right on time. She did my stepmom's hair on the fly. My stepmom hadn't shared her hair ideas so was instructing as they went along and Elena was absolutely PERFECT. So patient, so accommodating. Then it was my turn. Hair & makeup done ahead of schedule, I loved how I looked. Elena even helped me into my dress before taking off. I will definitely be calling on Elena for my next event and my stepmom took her card as well. (I am hoping I can update this with photos later, my selfies do not do justice)

Hired Elena for my daughter's homecoming. We needed someone who can do both hair and makeup and I don't trust myself to do either since my daughter has to set up homecoming as well. Elena was easygoing and personable and the results lasted until the end of the night. We are definitely hiring Elena again for future events!

Elena was a lifesaver. My previous stylist/makeup artist canceled on me 72 hours before my wedding but Elena was able to fit me in after already working for hours on another event. Not only did she do gorgeous hair and makeup but she made my daughter look adorable as well with the cutest hairstyle. She took her time, she was kind, funny, and just overall a great person to work with. I’ll update with pics when I get them!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do need to see a recent picture of you hair and I prefer to have some accessories on hair too, but it is all about the customers needs
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I made 2 schools in Moldova, Germany. I have worked in France part time as a hairstylist and in Ohio.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I just love hair and everything about it
