- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We typically provide a fixed-price bid after learning enough about the project, which provides peace of mind for our clients - unless something extraordinary is discovered during the project, the price will not change!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be cautious about cost per hour bids, where the project can drag on, adding unexpected costs. Ask the provider about whether they carry liability and worker's compensation insurance - you may be liable for issues that occur on your property if they do not. Also, check to see if the provider is using contractors, which may expose you to liability or a contractor lien risk.
