American stylish homes started out as a small one man business and over the years has grown into a deeply rooted business with projects all over the country. Although we have traveled the states providing our clients with exceptional service and have replaced flooring in countless houses, we decided to focus on our own backyard which happens to be Southern California. We furthered our specialization in flooring a couple years ago and it was the best decision. We have worked with over hundreds of families in hundreds of different properties, many of whose reviews can be seen here. Mohammed & his crew are top notch. My husband and I own a real estate business and know how difficult it is to find true, reliable professionals who are not just great at what they do, but they show up when they say they will. Mohammad went above and beyond with the installation of new LVP flooring. First, he was able to buy the exact plank we wanted at a discount vs. retail. Then he promised to have our floors (1000+ square feet) in 2 days. He fulfilled that promise and even bought, delivered and installed all new baseboards within that time. He was very courteous, professional, on time, and did everything he said he would do. And the flooring and baseboards look fantastic. The best part: his pricing was very, very reasonable. Would definitely recommend him and his team!

Stairs and bedrooms LVP flooring. They were quick and responsive to pull up flooring and put down the wood floors. All seamless and walked me through the options for stairs. I had a musty smell when I bought the place and replaced the carpets with the wood floors. No smell anymore and it feels cleaner! Would use them again!

    I have a degree and civil engineering and a contractors license specializing in flooring. In addition I have over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I have prior engineering experience, having been a civil engineer for over 20 years. 10 years ago I decided to change careers and become a contractor. From then I started replacing flooring on a daily basis and created my business around floor installation.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    I would recommend that they look at a professional’s reviews and also check their license. Licensed contractors have much more experience and are held to higher standards.
