American stylish homes started out as a small one man business and over the years has grown into a deeply rooted business with projects all over the country. Although we have traveled the states providing our clients with exceptional service and have replaced flooring in countless houses, we decided to focus on our own backyard which happens to be Southern California. We furthered our specialization in flooring a couple years ago and it was the best decision. We have worked with over hundreds of families in hundreds of different properties, many of whose reviews can be seen here. We are licensed, bonded, and insured for over 2 millions for both commercial and residential properties in order to give our clients the best service. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the work that Mohammad and his team did in installing laminate flooring in our bedroom and porcelain tile in the bathroom. He and his crew were always friendly, polite and professional. They worked efficiently, were meticulous and thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. I have a degree and civil engineering and a contractors license specializing in flooring. In addition I have over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have prior engineering experience, having been a civil engineer for over 20 years. 10 years ago I decided to change careers and become a contractor. From then I started replacing flooring on a daily basis and created my business around floor installation.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would recommend that they look at a professional’s reviews and also check their license. Licensed contractors have much more experience and are held to higher standards.
