Saul did a really great job installing a Eufy S4 Max NVR system, replacing a 10-year old PoE security camera system.
Saul was able to use the existing PoE cables and he ran new Ethernet Cat6 cables behind the drywall and between the ceiling joists for new camera locations.
Note that you may need to get a drywalling company (e.g www.omegadrywallsd.com) to fix all the drywall holes if you want a professional finish or you can get a drywall repair kit and do it yourself.
Saul had installed multiple Eufy systems before and he knew how to set up and configure the mobile app and alerts which was helpful.
We also installed a remote RF HDMI link and an active 15ft USB mouse extender from the NVR to allow us to see and control all the cameras feeds at once on a big screen TV, as well as on the mobile app.
Lastly, we installed a WiFi interface module to the NVR to connect some portable indoor WiFi cameras for locations where PoE wiring wasn’t an option.
You should budget a couple hours to install and set up the Eufy NVR system plus at least an hour for each new camera install and the associated PoE cable going behind the drywall, so potentially $750-$1500 for system installation, depending on how much work is required.
Saul was quick at installing all the hardware, but it’s a lot of work and worth every penny to get it done right !

Saul is an experienced and highly skilled professional. He installed my security cameras and floodlights with great attention to detail, and his knowledge and expertise were evident throughout the entire project. I received estimates from several other professionals, but Saul stood out because he offered the most practical solutions with the least hassle.
Despite working in extremely hot weather, he completed the installation efficiently and maintained a high level of professionalism from start to finish. Once the work was complete, he thoroughly tested all the devices to ensure everything was functioning correctly. He also fixed a defective electrical outlet for a reasonable additional charge.
I tested the floodlights that night, and they worked perfectly. Saul is courteous, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him for any electrical work, including security camera and lighting installations.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack is pretty good about giving the customer a general estimate as long as the information entered is filed out as best as possible. If customer still has pricing questions, those are always welcomed and gladly answered.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We get a customer referral, we introduce our company and the services we’re able and happy to provide. A communication is established and our technicians are sent out to install and setup all equipment or service requested by client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In the AV (Audio & Video) industry we are constantly receiving and making sure that our technicians are up to date with the latest updates on equipment and software.
