I found the House and Harmony website online when I was searching for an InteriorDesigner. I was drawn to the fact that Claudia Davis advertised as a Color Specialist and that she would take on projects both big and small. The main part of my project included replacing the wall to wall carpeting in my house and repainting all of the inside of my house except for the bathrooms and master bedroom that have already been remodeled. This project is basically a refresh since the carpet and paint had not been updated for 20 years. I went to three carpet stores myself and could not find the color of carpet that I was looking for with the right undertones. That was when I called Claudia. She was able to find me the exact color of carpet that I wanted in a good brand that I had never heard of. A few carpet stores in town carry this brand, but it would have been hit or miss if I ever found them on my own. Claudia also connected me with a carpet installer who did a very nice job. We also ended up picking an updated white paint color which has undertones that go with the carpet and my furniture. Previously I had very light beige walls. I'm still getting used to the white walls. They do make my furnishings "pop" more. What I appreciate about Claudia is that she always stayed calm even when I would get very anxious about various aspects of the project along the way.She never made me feel like I was bothering her with my concerns. I've now asked her to help my find a new fabric to recover one of my living room chairs and I've asked her opinion about what color vertical blinds I should get. I trust that she "gets" me and that everything will turn out fine which is basically the ultimate goal.L. Levin

when it comes to interiordesign you either get it or you don't and she does big time, she has an eye for updating uncluttering and making any space suddenly immaculate, her value can not be understanded Claudia knows her stuff

We used Claudia for our large kitchen remodel. She was very helpful in optimizing our kitchen layout. There was an error with our cabinet order (not her fault or our fault - it was the factory's fault) which she helped us navigate. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we start with a two hour consultation. I offer a lot of design and color advice at this meeting. I also talk about furniture layout, and we discuss your goals and determine which service works best for your needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in the industry for over 12 years and have formal interior design training.
