Suzi takes the stress out of interior design. I've got strong opinions, and it is important to me to feel respected when working with someone, and what I love about Suzi is that she hears you. She is really good at finding solutions that work within my budget and style - there are almost too many choices out there! Without ever feeling scolded or contradicted, she helps avoid what could have been time consuming, hard to live with, and costly errors. In addition, she's calm and an all around pleasant person. You spend so much time with a designer through a project, that I think that is pretty important. Suzi is up to date on the state of the art eco-friendly materials and strategies, which didn't apply in my case, but is of course what most of us want these days. Go green!Nov 9, 2017
Suzi with EcoLux Interiors has a knack for listening to who you are and what you want and making your vision come to life with her professional touch and guidance. She is very versatile. I have worked with her on numerous projects and seen her talent from a simple paint consultation to kitchen remodels to a whole house remodel. I highly recommend Suzi!Oct 31, 2017

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Best Value for Client is to pay me a set amount for the job. Then I pass all of my discounts onto you, the client. For furnishing a new home - say budget is $100,000 for all furnishings, art, lighting, tile, rugs and outdoor furnishings. My discounts with my vendors (to the trade only, meaning you cannot buy from them) will save you $25,000 to $35,000 on the purchase of your items. I can also work hourly and I also do consultations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We discuss size and scope of project by phone and set a time for me to come out and get to know you. If we decide that we can see working together and having a wonderful productive experience then we set up a contract and get to it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Interior Design Degree from an accredited College. I have hundreds of hours of additional education in Kitchen and Bath design and whole home renovation and design. I have a Masters in Social Work - which means I can help you thru the tough decision making process, and help you and your partner and kids enjoy the experience. I have traveled to world extensively and lived in Thailand so I enjoy helping you showcase memories of your travels and passions. I am a Certified Green Building Professional and am active with the Green Building Council, ASID, NKBA and BNI here in San Diego.
