- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hourly rates in a professional services firm create an inherent conflict of interest because one party is incentivized to end an engagement as quickly as possible and the other is incentivized to prolong it. Neither approach builds a high trust relationship. Thats why Karl Bimshas Consulting agreements generally use value-based pricing. However, for those looking for a fixed-price solution I have agreements based on monthly commitments.
