Steph was fantastic! She listened to what I was envisioning and then created the exact look I wanted. She made me feel very special and that no amount of makeup is irreversible! I don't know where to begin but she was so professional and so much fun! She did an OUTSTANDING job on the bridesmaid's make up, my makeup was exactly how I wanted it! Stephanie is the best! I picked Stephanie after looking at several other artists galleries and being disappointed with there work. I was so excited when I found Stephanie as her makeup work is amazing! I was still nervous as I was traveling from NJ to SD for my wedding and Stephanie put me at ease. She was great at communicating with me and asking me exactly what I wanted. The day of my event she was so fun and personable. She made me feel like I was hanging out with a girlfriend for the day :) She made me look even better than I could have imagined! My makeup was absolutely flawless and my hair looked great. I couldn't have asked for more. Stephanie even went out of her way to help my husband and I to have an even more special day. Thanks for everything!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prom or formal event- $75-100
Wedding makeup- $75 and up depending upon total number of bridal party
Photo Shoot - $75 & up
Custom Airbrush Tanning- $50 plus additional charge for add drops
Special Event Hair- $65 and up
Wedding Hair- $75 and up More detailed updos and braided styles begin at $100
I will work with any client who has a budget that happens to be less than my general pricing if I can. Please let me know what your spending limits are & if I can make it work I absolutely will. All you need to do is communicate with me. It's my goal to be able to help everyone who requests my services!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talk with them beforehand to get an idea of the look they are interested in achieving for their specific event. Have the customer send me any photos they may have of their desired look so I can make sure I have the correct products with me on the day of their event. Arrange the time & place where I will meet them to do the hair & makeup.
I do suggest trials for weddings, however it's not mandatory. I am confident that I will make all of my brides and their maids look amazing!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed courses at Maquillage School of Beauty including the advanced wedding and special event hairstyling as well as the advanced airbrush makeup course! In addition to MSB, I have had the privilege and pleasure of being trained by senior level artists from multiple cosmetic brands including Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, Make Up For Ever, Bare Minerals, La Mer & Jo Malone. I attended College Beauty School courses in 1999-2000 including makeup 101, 201, 301 & Fashion/Film Makeup as well as classes for Small Business Owners and recently went back to take Social Media for Small Business Owners. However, nothing will ever compare to the hands-on learning that I was lucky enough to get while I worked at Neiman Marcus in Fashion Valley. I worked there for almost 10 years and was trained on the best makeup & skincare lines in the industry. My time there & the knowledge I gained is invaluable!
