Mold services
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: At Pure Maintenance of California, we use science to make your home a safe place to live. Using patented technology and the InstaPURE and EverPURE processes, which have been tested by the Army Corps of Engineers **, we will denature (kill so they are no longer harmful and can never reproduce) all mold that makes your home potentially unsafe. Many homes don’t require demolition and rebuild as a part of mold remediation, and our 2-step dry fogging process is guaranteed and warranted for a full year. When demolition/rebuild is required, we will guide you through that as well. Need to get behind walls or into the ceiling? We’ll knock out all the mold without expensive tear out whenever possible. Did I mention we guarantee and warranty our work for a full year?! **NOTE: Testing by the Army Corps of Engineers does not entail approval or endorsement in any form.

When my basement tenant moved out last fall I discovered bubbles of black mold lurking behind the paint on the kitchen wall. Knowing that this can be a health risk to future tenants, I sought professional help. I got several bids to eradicate the problem. I am an architect and I know that if you see mold in one spot, you might have more mold hiding behind the surface in the next room. I chose to go with Pure Maintenance of Colorado because they had a more complete approach to the mold problem. Other bidders concentrated their work on the kitchen wall. Pure Maintenance guaranteed that the ENTIRE APARTMENT would be mold-free. Pure Maintenance uses a process that pushes airborne mold-killing chemicals into every nook and cranny with a pressurized pump. Ryan worked with me to get the work done so that I could get a new tenant into the apartment with minimal down time. He gave me lab reports showing that my unit is now safe and mold-free. Pure Maintenance did a great job. I would recommend their process to anyone who has mold issues.

Pure Maintenance was chosen by my Landlord for Mold testing and Remediation of black and white mold. 1) Jarrett was completely unprofessional from day 1, saying one thing to the landlord and another to me. The worst was on the day he told me that Pure Maintenance was recommending the house be demolished due to excessive mold (meaning I could not return to my home) whining that it was his birthday and he was running late for his birthday dinner because the project was taking longer than expected. He was completely out of touch with the reality of the situation and the amount of work it would take to remediate the mold, this was HIS fault for underestimating the problem not mine. 2) He did not completely fill out the forms or take all of the info I provided to him (I have myself on video listing the symptoms I was experiencing headaches, sore throat, sinus issues) he only listed respiratory problems on the form. He failed to document that there was any testing done on the form he provided me. However, I have text messages from him acknowledging that there were test results and what day they came in. He also found mold in the bathroom, that was not listed on the form either.3) He refused to provide me with the mold test results that were taken in MY home. - He is helping the landlord cover up the fact that I was left to live in a house saturated with mold for weeks. 4) On the first day of remediation he then went behind the landlords back to take mold tests in the kitchen (which he stated was best for me because that is where the mold was) again, playing both sides. When he took the initial test (to appease the landlord) he took it near the living room which was further from the mold. 5) Because he had to leave the job half done (again, due to his lack of ability to assess the problem) he left my door unlocked with all of my belongings in my home. 6) Ryan, the owner was much more professional and honest but has blatantly ignored my request for the results.
Pure Maintenance of California LLC's reply
Dalal, I’m sorry to learn more of your dissatisfaction. I know the whole situation can be scary and frustrating. Unfortunately when under contract with the homeowner, we can only provide a renter with test results with the homeowners permission. I hope you’ll request those results from the homeowner. The second test, which was taken in the kitchen (“moldy area”), was paid for by our business, so I’m happy to disclose that it in-fact showed a lower mold count than the test taken outside that area. After beginning remediation, however, it became clear that the project would be far more extensive than initially planned from the free visual inspection. Having you remain outside the house until complete was only for your protection and health safety. In our line of work, we do not ever take sides and we never cover up mold concerns, even though we’re often caught in the middle of a strained tenant/landlord relationship. Taking sides provides zero advantage to us as a business. I assure you that any and all communication has been honest and genuine, even though it may have been misunderstood or misinterpreted. Expectations occasionally must change to ensure the health and safety of building occupants. Lastly, if a paid inspection had occurred, the technician would certainly have been more thorough with his note taking, but the inspection was provided by us for free as a courtesy to both you and and the homeowners, and in such cases we are not obligated to provide any written report or recommendations of any kind. The technician only provided the written overview as a courtesy. One word of advice for the future. Please do not call and threaten my or anyone else’s technicians without cause. If you have a problem with the business, please talk with the business owner. In most cases, I think you’ll find there is a simple misunderstanding.

I couldn't be happier!! The final results of the remediation were far and beyound what I expected. Jarrett my technician was amazing! The customer services was phenomenal, the process was straight forward and easy, no pressure, the quality and execution of service provided exceed expectations, the follow up and follow through was timely and comprehensive. Pricing was very reasonable (especially for the quality of work) and there were no hidden or extra fees. This was scary for me to begin with, but after meeting with Jarrett and having my questions answered and the process explained it put those fears to rest. I would highly recommend Pure Maintenance and would like to thank you for making a bad situation a good experience.
