I needed a small move to be done, but I needed to hire a company that would be licensed and insured because I had some legal problems working with uninsured contractors. So I requested a quote from Thumbtack, and three movers companies reached out. Dominant being the most expensive out of three actually had a valid license, which I checked and all necessary list of insurances. Two other movers, which were about $25 cheaper either did not have license, and other had license but expired insurances certificates. So I decided to go with Dominant, who was a little more expensive. They were also available to help me on a super short notice because my plans changed and I could move in earlier than planned. I contacted them on Thursday and they were able to fit me in today morning. I only had a small studio and they moved me for less 3 hours but billed for 3 hours total of $425 for licensed and insured company. I had Mario and Alejandro and they were super careful, professional, and efficient

Dominant Moving did an amazing job helping me move some furniture from my house into storage. From the very beginning, their communication was clear and professional, and they arrived right on time. The crew worked quickly but with great care — they wrapped and handled every piece as if it were their own. You can tell they take pride in their work and really know what they’re doing. What stood out to me the most was how efficient and organized they were. They didn’t waste a minute, but at the same time, nothing felt rushed or careless. It’s rare to find movers who manage to be both fast and so attentive to detail. They’re also fully licensed and insured, which gave me peace of mind — especially compared to some other companies I found on Thumbtack that aren’t. You can tell Dominant Moving runs a legitimate, trustworthy business. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience. They made what could have been a stressful day completely smooth and easy. I first found Dominant Moving Company on Thumbtack and after checking that they were the only licensed and insured company on Thumbtack that provided me a quote and decided to give them a try for a small 1-bedroom apartment move. The experience was so smooth and professional that I hired them again just a month later for a much bigger move — a full service job with packing and two trucks from Oceanside to San Marcos for my parents, who are in their late 70s. When looking for full service movers for 2nd I asked Chat GPT for recommendations and ChatGPT gave me Dominant Moving Company as one of the recommended companies. Both times, the crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and handled everything with care. For the larger move, they took charge of packing my parents’ belongings and made what could have been a stressful day for them completely stress-free. They were organized, careful with fragile items, and still managed to move everything quickly. What stood out most was their consistency — whether it was a smaller job or a major move for my elderly parents, their professionalism and attention to detail were the same. The whole team was friendly, respectful, and clearly experienced, which gave my family peace of mind. I highly recommend Dominant Moving Company for any move, big or small. Dominant Moving Company did a phenomenal job with my recent move of 3 bedroom residence within San Diego County. Francisco, Anthony, and Mark were fantastic — extremely efficient, professional, and incredibly careful with all my furniture. Their rates are very reasonable — not the cheapest per hour, but absolutely worth every dollar for the quality, speed, and care they provide.
