FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our therapists are credentialed as Holistic Health Practitioners (HHP) which means they have taken at least twice the State's required hours of training for massage therapists. Additionally some of our therapists are also now instructors at local massage schools.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are looking for specific results, it is really worth it to pay a little extra and get a therapist that actually knows what they're doing. I've gone to discount places and it works to get your body generally mashed up, but they can't customize the session to the client's needs or correctly target trouble spots. When it comes to massage, the effectiveness is a science and the enoyability is an art. You need quality.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I think people know initially why they book a massage, but I think once you meet you're therapist, you should share your goals for the session as well as your health goals in general. Sometimes the therapist may have an alternative modality or technique to suggest and it is good for them to have a longer term direction in mind even while working on specific issues.
