- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For a quick figure to quote clients I ask "How many transactions on the average per bank statement are listed on your statements?" If there are 40 entries figure 40 minutes of time for basic data entry. For cleaning up and creating a new QB file it can take some time depending on how many accounts/ credit cards are used for the business or personal use. On the average a minute an entry.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to have a phone call to get acquainted and find out how I can help. From there usually a meeting or trip to your.or.my location for an introduction and ease of the new process for your project. Depending on your needs we meet monthly or quarterly for updates.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family has owned a business for three generations. With being exposed to family business all my life it was a natural progression of learning about the financial side of things. When QuickBooks was first introduced to me, it was a natural progression. I learned Quick Books from a CPA in 1996. I have been using and helping my family and small businesses since then.
