It's not your fault you didn't learn to swim or had a traumatizing experience in water. The great news is that it's not too late to start. My name is Mike and I teach adults to swim who have experienced water trauma, have aqua phobia, or just want to become a decent lap swimmer for fitness & weight loss. My teaching method is different than some coaches where I stay in the lane with you and by you providing feedback and help in the moment. I don't like standing on the pool deck, barking commands at my clients. You and I are in it to win it! I teach at public pools because they provide safety, comfort and space that adult learns truly need to discover joy in the water. I'm a Red Cross certified swim instructor with current CPR & lifeguard certifications in addition to be being fully insured.
