- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I help clients get clear on their goals for their translation and/or interpretation services needs via a free consultation. For translation: 1) Clients can email me their document to receive a free translation quote. 2) We decide on a deadline that meets the client's goals. 3) Once the quote is approved by the client, I get started on the translation right away. 4) Client receives translation on time. :) For interpretation: 1) Client shares meeting details. 2) Once quote is approved by client, we schedule interpretation day and meeting. 3) I interpret for client's meeting. :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a native Spanish speaker who has: * a Translation and Interpretation Certification through CUNY Hunter College * a College Reading and Learning Association Tutor Certification * graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a Bachelors degree in Latin American and Caribbean studies and a double minor in Spanish and German * completed training at the Southern California School of Interpretation in 2018 *14 years of translation and interpretation experience *14 years of tutoring experience *a 5/5 on the AP Spanish Exam *helped hundreds of students ace their exams and courses *helped hundreds of students achieve fluency *delivered hundreds of reliable translations *provided top quality interpretation for national and international events
