Pramukh Shankar

Hi! My name is Pramukh, and I’m a recent graduate from UCSB with over 16 years of competitive tennis experience, including playing at the Division I level and leading the UCSB Club Tennis team. Through my time as both a player and captain, I’ve gained extensive experience coaching and mentoring athletes of all skill levels. I understand that every player is different, which is why I provide personalized instruction tailored to your individual goals, whether that’s building consistent groundstrokes, improving match strategy, or developing greater confidence under pressure. In addition to structured coaching sessions, I also offer high-quality hitting practice, including match play and point-based drills to simulate real competition. My coaching philosophy centers on making tennis an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I believe players grow the most when they’re having fun, building confidence, and excited to step on the court!
