Hi! My name is Tobi and I am a qualified San Diego tennis coach with PTR and have over 17 years of playing experience in the UK and USA and over 14 years of teaching experience. I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons and group tennis lessons for adults and teenagers of all skill levels. I teach my lessons at Colina Del Sol Park in Mid City. Tobi is a great tennis instructor. He took time to assess my strengths and weaknesses and gain an understanding of where I’d like to improve. In 5 minutes of court time, he identified the problems with my forehand and customized drills to make the fix. On top of his ability to develop your tennis strokes, Tobi does a great job of working strategy and shot selection into every lesson. If you’re looking to improve and build confidence in your game, Tobi is the perfect coach

Tobi was able to quickly identify and help correct a couple of fundamentals that have really helped improve my game. I’m a serve and volleyer and Tobi has helped me change my mindset. I’ve begun playing a much more attacking style of tennis!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I use the first lesson to analyse where the client is at in terms of skillset and then tailor my lessons based off of what their goals to achieve are. I make sure each lesson is varied, fun and interactive and that they are being pushed each lesson to improve and enjoy the session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a PTR qualified tennis coach for 14 years and have experience working with children as young as 5, all the way up to adults over 70 and everything in between. I have worked with schools, with high school teams and with competitive adult players as well as having played myself for 17 years.
