Misha Cohen is an exceptionally knowledgeable, skilled and experienced acupuncturist who keeps up with the newest research and health resources in the field. In fact Misha is sought after by many universities and medical facilities where she lectures to doctors and other practitioners regarding the science and efficacy of acupuncture for healing. I have been a patient of her practice for more than 20 years and believe that her care and thoughtful treatments have kept my blood pressure in check. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our practitioners attend continuing education classes, more than are necessary to maintain our licensure. We go to conferences about integrative medicine and acupuncture research as well as deepening our knowledge of traditional methods of diagnosis and treatment in Asian medicine. We also have regular in-house trainings in integrative health and medical treatments, especially in complex issues such as late stage liver disease, HIV/AIDS, HPV-related disease and cancer complications
