- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Initial consultation (90 minutes): $185 Individual sessions for training and walking (60 minutes): $130 - discounts available! Coaching sessions (75 minutes): $175 Dog sitting: $250/night
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your training journey will start with a 90 minute initial consultation. We will use this time to dive into the details: we’ll talk about your specific goals and put together a holistic view of your dog’s life and behavior to create a training plan that feels right for you. At the end of the consultation you will walk away with training techniques you can implement immediately! We will follow up with a written summary and additional resources. After the consultation, we are here to support you with the following options: day training or coaching.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lauren attended the Dog Training Internship Academy in San Francisco and completed Susan Friedman's Living & Learning with Animals course with a Certificate of Excellence. Lauren graduated from dog*biz’s Dog Walking Academy and is certified in pet first aid and CPR. She has volunteered at animal shelters and rescue organizations for over 20 years. She was a training assistant for the Adolescent Manners and Adult Manners classes at the SF SPCA, and most recently she was a training assistant for puppy socials and puppy classes at SF Puppy Prep. She is a member of the Shock Free Coalition. She is committed to learning and updating her tools and methods as scientific understanding grows and best practices in modern dog training evolve.
