About
Hi, I’m Kat, an open-format DJ who specializes in indie, new wave and synth pop but can customize music for your event. I’ve played at clubs and bars and am part of the Empress SF DJ Collective. I’ve played Monarch and Zhuzh in San Francisco and Wild Hawk in Redwood City as well as private parties, even a children’s birthday party! As a mom, I’m great with kids.
I also am taking graphic design clients, as an advertising creative director and art director I’ve made may flyers and advertising pieces and I would love to help more small business and individuals create flyers and graphics as well.

DJ MadMich was an absolute joy to work with for my daughter’s 5th birthday party. From start to finish, she made everything feel effortless and fun. She curated the perfect playlist that included my daughters favorites and kept the kids dancing nonstop while also sneaking in songs the adults loved — which made the whole party feel magical for everyone.
One of the highlights was how she let the kids experience what it’s like to be a DJ. They were so excited to interact with the equipment and feel like little pros for a moment. It wasn’t just music — it was an experience, and the kids were completely obsessed.
Every child was on the dance floor, laughing, moving, and having the best time. She brought the energy, the vibes, and the heart. I couldn’t recommend her more for any kids’ party (or honestly any party at all!).
