As an all-format DJ, I am available for just about any genre, including top 40, hip-hop and R&B, house music, disco, funk, soul, rock, electro, etc.

Whether you want your vibe cool and classy, hip and modern or upbeat and rocking, I can create a tailor-made aural experience for you and your guests. As a professional DJ and music journalist with a large breadth of knowledge, I'll keep your party in the right groove; if things get to slow I can help add some energy, or mellow the crowd when it's time to wind down.
This listing includes a DJ set, professional gear, music and transportation--you just supply a table and an electrical outlet! My decks are Technics 1200 turntables and I use Serato Scratch Live (no vinyl pops or skips). I'll set up my pro-grade sound equipment to pipe the perfect music into your party!

I'm a micromanager so it's important that I'm in control of all the details- down to each song played. Ellen was so great and easy to work with. She reassured me and was happy to provide all the information I needed. Her rates are reasonable and she is great at following up.
After creating a playlist with a few songs, she put together the final playlist that perfectly fit the mood of the party. Overall I was happy with her performance and I believe the crowd was as well.

Ellen did a great job DJing our party for 500 people at The Winery SF on Treasure Island. It was a young, start-up crowd. She played great music and got the crowd energized. The party was a big success thanks to Ellen.

I was at a party last week where Ellen performed and she was AWESOME. She set a very cool atmosphere early on at the party and got everyone dancing as the night progressed.

Ellen put on an amazing show at a party I went to at the Winery on Treasure Island last week. There were hundreds of people at the party and she rocked it out. She even posted pictures of the party to her Twitter account afterwards - very cool.
