Matt Haze dj's my daughter's Bat Mitzvah in June of 2010. We were so happy with his work, that we have asked him to DJ for my son's bar mitzvah in February! Matt met with me and my daughter prior to the event to find out exactly what she wanted. He helped her select songs, and added to the list as well. Matt also introduced us to the awesomeness of VJing - and will provide this at my son's bar mitzvah as well. Matt is personable, gets kids, is very professional, without the hype that we have seen with many of the Bar and Bat Mitzvah DJs. Matt is the perfect DJ for our celebration, and we recommend him highly.

We hired Matt to play the Eatup in downtown Oakland for Art Murmur. He arrived on time and played for 2 hours. Our event attracts a diverse crowd of about 5,000 people, and Matt killed it! He had folks dancing, and everyone had a good time. His music selection is eclectic and deep, able to play anything from funk to house to bass music. His style is unique and it shines in every genre he plays. I definitely recommend having him play your event.

I've worked with Matt at various events: Family Dance Parties, Grown Up dance parties, charity events and my Yoga Class! I can always depend on him to keep the dance floor full and moving (or the Yoga Class calm and centered). He brings his own style, but can read a crowd and keep them happy. He also has a great sense of humor, which you cannot throw a good party without.
