Hired on Thumbtack

DJ Proof is awesome! We hired him from Thumbtack for our wedding. He was very professional throughout the process and had a lot of great ideas for us. He played music that matched our tastes during the wedding and he knew how to start a great dance party. Super cool guy and not your typical cheesy wedding DJ :). I highly recommend considering him for your event!

Marky DJed two of our wedding events and people couldn't stay off the dance floor! It was truly epic and I am so so so happy that Marky could be a part of our big day. Here are some of the biggest reasons Marky was the best: 1) He is super responsive and down to earth. Doesn't try to sell you at all and really is interested in wanting to understand your event. 2) When he realized our venue required several sets of speaker systems-he adapted really quickly and found very reasonably priced rental equipment. 3) He took all my music likes and dislikes and played incredible music. There wasn't a song on all night that I didn't want to dance to. 4) It's so rare to find a DJ that actually mixes and doesn't just cue up songs these days. MARKY IS INCREDIBLE...he mixed all night and some of my guests even asked me for his contact info for their own weddings. 5) Marky is not cheesy at all...he made announcements when necessary but he didn't do a lot of the gimmicky things that many DJs do and that was super important to me. His music spoke for itself and got the crowd going! I can't recommend Marky enough! If I ever need a DJ again, he will definitely be who I call.

Proof DJed my wedding up in Tahoe and damn, I was not disappointed. I had heard him at some events around SF and listened to his mixes online so when my now-wife suggested him, I didn't even give it a second thought before agreeing. Marky met with us before the event just to make sure we were on the same page about the day/night of the wedding and he made sure to cover all of the bases - what to play, what not to play, the kind of vibe we wanted, and how the schedule would work. His professionalism was apparent and it was very appreciated that he wanted to work *with* us, and not just left to do his own thing, to make it perfect. A big thank you goes out to DJ Proof! You killed it.

Marky DJ'd our wedding and did an outstanding job. He provided mics and audio for the ceremony without issue or glitch, filled the party with a variety of wonderful music, kept our guests dancing, and was an all around pleasure to work with. We're fairly particular in our musical tastes (which are somewhat expansive), and he played all that we asked and complimented our choices with many, many more. He knew what music our people needed when they needed it. In fact, we have gotten countless compliments from friends and family about Marky since the wedding. We very much recommend him if you want to have a good time at your event and enjoy working with stand-up professional and all around good dude.

Proof is an amazing DJ. I work at the Asian Art Museum and he has been one of the only professionals I have worked with who gets the whole floor dancing. It is no easy feat to achieve this vibe in this Beaux-Arts building. You cannot do better than Proof.
