Steve Chui - from the time I met him and explained my requirements he was great to deal with! He mainly helped - remodel our bathrooms - replace kitchen counters, hood and sink - replace our deck - accent paneled wall in bedroom His attention to detail, helping think through best outcome, taking my husband and me to a hardware / construction store in the city and choosing fittings with us has been extremely useful. We were not in the city during the crux of the work he did in the bathrooms and kitchen - Steve took complete ownership and kept me updated at every step. He picked up all the hardware / fittings / that were needed from Home Depot, East star construction company, Floor & Decor, and items I ordered through amazon. You can send him links and he’ll pay attention to all details, and give you final options to choose from, and realistic timelines! I loved working with him so much that he’s now my Go To person for any home fixes, he went on to replacing our patio / deck, making an accent paneled wall in our master bedroom, and I have few more upgrades he’s going to help us on! Great at his job, communication, responsiveness, punctuality, working with other contractors who were working at our home in parallel, and Of course his quick witted nature! Highly recommend him

Steve and his crew were AMAZING (and I am picky). Professional and prompt service. My kitchen tile job came out beautifully! I wish there was a way to download a pic. I will be hiring him again for a large shelving project soon. I would highly recommend this company. Price are reasonable too. Thanks Steve.

I can enthusiastically recommend Steve Chui and his company, Kinetic Construction. My wife and I hired Steve to undertake a partial kitchen remodel that involved destroying existing tile so a new countertop could be laid, installing a backsplash, electrical, plumbing, painting and assorted other elements. Steve and his crew were great. First of all, Steve came in with a very fair bid and as we went through the process, there were no surprises. We were very pleased that the only change orders that came up were all items that we decided to add, and in all cases, the price Steve quoted was very fair. Steve was very focused and always one step ahead of the process. He identified issues early, getting our decision, solving small and large items that came up. He made some excellent recommendations along the way that improved the final outcome. The quality of the workmanship was very high. Our backsplash was complex, involving glass tiles inside ceramic tiles. The workmanship and attention to detail of his crew were amazing. It was the same with the painting and every other detailvery precise and careful. He and his crew also coordinated easily with the countertop layers, the stove installers and all the other folks who were in and out through the process. The end results were beautiful and we were thrilled with the final product. We know we could have paid a lot more but doubt we could have gotten a better kitchen. The logistics as we went through the remodel were also surprisingly easy. The workers were there when we were told they would be there. They were neat, quiet, and cleaned up every evening. Steve was always available, whether or not he was on site. He was always straightforward and easy to deal with. We always knew exactly what was happening. The whole experience was all much less stressful than we had anticipated. Our entire experience with Kinetic Construction was very favorable and we would highly recommend the company to others. We have since used Steve for a number of other smaller jobs, both electrical, plumbing and painting. It is always a pleasure. His team is always precise and neat, always on time. And Steve is very responsive. Once when we had a plumbing emergency with our disposal, he rushed over on a Saturday night and saved the day. But the best part is that Steve is such a smart and resourceful guy. He always comes up with the easiest, most efficient and thus most cost effective way to get you the result you are looking for and always with an end result of the highest standard. We are big fans!
