About this pro

Print | Digital | Handmade

I specialize in design for creative people and small companies.

Whether large or small, simple or complex, or drafting new concepts or working with existing artwork, let me make you look good.

I pride myself in getting to know my clients: where they are now, where they want to be, what they like, and sometimes equally important, what they do not like. When beginning a project, I sometimes feel like an optometrist, "choice A or choice B?".

I encourage clear communication and constructive criticism. I am here to help you create your image, and therefore, deeply value your input and feedback. I believe you should never feel sheepish expressing your opinion on your project.

My list of clients includes corporations and publishing companies, professional musicians and photographers, interior designers and antique dealers, floral designers and chefs, and artists and philanthropists.

I do logos, business cards, brochures, catalogs, mailers, signage, websites, newsletters, banners, custom invitations, event stationary, and more.

From my first phone contact with Lisa I knew I gained a partner in reaching my visual goals for my business. She took the time to sit down with me and get clear on what I wanted. I'd had a previous experience with a designer where we couldn't see eye to eye. I discovered that not all graphic designers are artists. Lisa is super creative, encouraging and she even helped with some technical pieces that came up in the process. I would highly recommend Lisa Erickson Design for any creative types out there who want something really unique. Lisa is wonderful!!

I have recommended Lisa already and will continue to do so. I plan to book her for my next project. She is that perfect combo of personable and professional - warm, precise and informative. Her creativity is impressive and she somehow extracted my ideas from my head and translated them into print in a way I could have never imagined. I tried doing things 'on my own' for too long... and once I've had Lisa, I won't go back! I think her prices are reasonable... she is one of those over-deliver kind of services.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find a designer whose work you admire, who you feel comfortable communicating with, and who has evidence of happy clients. A good portfolio and good communication are equally important in my opinion.
