My name is Francheska and I am a classical guitarist and teacher since 2014. I have been accepted to prestigious conservatories such as the Manhattan School of Music, Eastman, and San Francisco Conservatory.
I am based in San Francisco, CA and accept students of all levels. My students are highly classical trained and could navigate technical challenges through guided practice. I take time outside of lessons to check-in and request progress updates from my students.
I incorporate proven pedagogical methods and create both short and long term plans for my students to progress. Aside from 1-on-1 instruction, the student will have an opportunity to take exams, performances, and learn from a co-teacher.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give a 15-30 min courtesy class to a new customer and from there learn about their interests and expected outcomes. I customize lesson plans based on the student's time and availability to practice and pick pieces that are interesting to them and where they will learn the most. If the student has more complex goals, such as performing or going through exams, I work with a co-teacher to provide more skills sets and regularly support the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been an assistant teacher at De Anza College and had students through thumbtack and the academy where I teach in Fremont. I participate in adjudications, masterclasses, festivals, recitals, and international workshops.
