We hired him through Thumbtack for a variety of repairs around our home - plumbing, minor electrical work, door fixes, and general handyman items - and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Communication and coordination were completely seamless. He was responsive and very transparent about what he was seeing and what needed to be done. He always kept us updated as he worked. A few issues turned out to be more complex than we initially expected, but he stayed committed to figuring them out and made sure everything was properly fixed before leaving. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job right and about the homeowner’s peace of mind. Very trustworthy and professional, and also just a genuinely nice person to work with. I would absolutely hire him again for any future home repairs and highly recommend him to others.

I can't recommend Shane highly enough! His breadth of knowledge, creative approaches to any task, reasonable pricing, and down-to-earth personality make him a delight to interact with. I have commissioned him for intricate custom art pieces, graphics, and centerpieces for my business (a queer disco dance party), to thorough, detail-oriented quality repairs and enhancements to my home from drywall repair to modernizing my alarmingly loud doorbell & buzzer to be app-based, quiet, and able to receive deliveries from anywhere. Shane has completed a wide range of home improvement projects for me, consistently delivering high-quality work with care, professionalism, and good judgment when required. He is dependable, communicates clearly, and handles both planned projects and unexpected issues with confidence. The following are some of the projects Shane had completed at my home: • Created an outdoor patio area which has become a favorite hangout. Shane restored teek fixtures and installed them along w water fountain and seating as well as built planter boxes, installed exterior backstairs lighting,etc. In addition: • Bathroom repairs and upgrades • Plumbing fixture installation • Receiving and installing a brand-new oven • Laundry room remodel • Emergency leak repairs following recent atmospheric river storms, including response to subfloor softening and significant water intrusion into the kitchen below All work orders were clearly communicated before, during, and after completion.
