- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I generally charge $65 per hour, or charge a set amount for a job.I have the experience that comes with helping 2500 clients, so I work FAST. I have never had client who thought I wasn't fair about pricing. Yep, that didn't mean they didn't want a lower bid. My experienced handyman friends charge $125 an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make sure I know as much as possible about a project , and thoroughly communicate with the client to get their expectations , and let them know my thoughts on estimated length of project, as well as cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
You never know the path your life will take. Seriously, not in s billion years would I have guessed.!! I am a Yale graduate with a BS in biology, and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Darden at the University of Virginia. After a career in finance,(New York Wall Street is an amazing place to work. Loved going to work every day) . then a prolonged bout with cancer, ( A billion to one survivor) my handyman. and wall mounting skills developed over several years doing hundreds of projects for clients through Taskrabbit, Thumbtack and direct hires. I love college basketball, and cannot get enough of the Golden State Warriors. I played varsity basketball at Yale ( Payne Whitney Gymnasium is an icon!! making the All Ivy League Team Senior year. Scored 398 points Senior Year, missing last shot in last game at buzzer!! (Harvard )!! Definitely a blessed early life! My life path is stranger than fiction.
