We hired Kunjan for an interiordesign project: to help improve our living space without making any major furniture purchases.
Kunjan helped us make our apartment feel like home! She is very talented, and was a complete joy to work with. There are a several things that are worth mentioning. 1) She spent time with us, in person and on pinterest, learning what we liked and didn't like. 2) She used everything that we already had to the maximum extent possible. 3) She was great at finding cost-effective things and thinking of cost-effective solutions for what we wanted. 4) She has a really great eye for interiordesign and color! 5) She clearly and professionally communicated about the budget throughout the time she worked with us. 6) She was extremely committed to our project, and accommodating to our schedules. 7) She is easy going and fun.
We are so happy with how our home looks now. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her.

Working with Kunjan was the best experience I have ever had with an interiordesigner. If you are contemplating hiring one, HIRE HER.
She is the perfect balance of professional, organized and structured along with very creative, playful, kind and fun. Working with her was a complete delight. Not only was she respectful and supportive of our budget for furnishing our entire one-bedroom apartment, but she was diligent at finding us lots of cost-saving opportunities (eg, waiting for holiday sales, using certain coupons, etc) so we finished perfectly within our budget range.
She also adapted well to my and my fiancee's styles: both aesthetics for the apartment and working styles for communicating, selecting and ordering all of our furniture. It made working with her efficient and low-stress.
We have already recommended her to our friends who are moving to the city and STRONGLY RECOMMEND her to you, too!

I worked with Kunjan to upgrade my apartment to a more modern look and feel. She was absolutely AMAZING. She has a great style eye and worked with me to understand the vibe I was going for in my space… She provided a range of recommendations and explained step by step what items worked in my space and the vibe certain items would bring to my space… Kunjan listens to her Clients to fully understand their needs and i could not be more pleased with how my space looks and feels. When I moved into my new place I wanted to make my room feel like home. Enter the incredible Kunjan! The process did take longer than I had originally hoped but the end result was a lovely stylish yet comfortable room that was truly me. I love going home to that room every day!
Kunjan was great about staying within my limited budget and working with what I had while finding targeted places for improvement and strategic upgrades. Would absolutely recommend!

Kunjan is super responsive and a master at listening and understanding needs. I'm so glad I went with her vs other online options. She really invested in the project, spent considerable time generating and presenting options, and came up with some really clever design choices that increased the use of our rooms (we now have a reading nook!). She was also clever about budget, able to choose things from high-end places but also Ikea or Target. She knew when to go expensive and when to go cheap.
While she is famous for color - I wanted a more subdued palate and she delivered, giving us the modern, cutting edge design we were looking for. If you want someone who will invest considerable effort, time, and imagination - that is Kunjan.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have two pricing options - Flat project fee (based on the project scope) and Per hour fee - @$400 (with a minimum of 10 hours).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We suggest an initial call to set up an in-person consultation where we discuss the project scope (style, timeline, budget and pricing).
We then send out a formal contract with the detailed information regarding the project. Once that's signed and agreed upon, we create a Pinterest board and start sharing options of the items ready to purchase.
Our process is simple and as interactive as you want it to be.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Interior design and styling has always been something I wanted to do all my life. It was a passion that I turned into a profession and have loved it ever since.
